Privacy policy
KreatorCut helps brands run their creator and ambassador programmes: sending products to creators, collecting their videos, and paying them a share of the ad spend on ads that use their content. This policy explains what information KreatorCut collects, why, and what we do with it.
KreatorCut is operated by TD Global Media ("we", "us"). If you have any question about this policy or your data, email hello@kreatorcut.com.
1. Information from Shopify
When a brand connects its Shopify store, KreatorCut asks for read-only access to products and inventory. We use this to:
- show the brand's products, variants and images when they choose what to send a creator
- show SKUs so the warehouse knows what to pick
- read each item's cost price so the brand can see what its creator programme costs
We store the store's .myshopify.com address and an access key so we can read this information. We do not access or store customer, order or payment data from Shopify.
2. Information from Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads)
When a brand connects its ad account, KreatorCut reads ad names, ad IDs, thumbnails and daily spend, with view-only access. We use this to calculate what each creator has earned from ads using their content.
3. Information about brand team members
For people who log in to run a brand's account: name, email address, role, and a log of actions taken in KreatorCut (for example "sent a request" or "approved a video"), so the brand can see who did what.
4. Information about creators
For creators a brand works with, KreatorCut stores what the brand or the creator adds:
- name, email address and social handles
- the delivery address for products sent to them, and an optional phone number for the courier
- videos they upload, and messages between them and the brand
- payout details they provide so the brand can pay them
- request history, deadlines and earnings
5. How we use information
Only to run KreatorCut for the brand and its creators: showing products, tracking requests, calculating earnings, sending notifications and emails about activity in the account, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell information, and we do not use it for advertising.
6. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run KreatorCut. They process information only on our instructions:
- Supabase: database, logins and file storage (hosted in London, UK)
- Netlify: hosting of the KreatorCut website
- Resend: sending login codes and notification emails
- Shopify and Meta: the sources of product and ad data the brand chose to connect
Information about a brand's creators and products is visible only to that brand's team. Each creator sees only their own information.
7. How long we keep it
- When a brand removes KreatorCut from its Shopify store, we delete its Shopify access key straight away. If Shopify asks us to delete a store's data, we delete everything we hold for that store.
- Brands can delete creator videos at any time.
- Other information is kept while the brand uses KreatorCut, and deleted within 30 days of a request to close the account, unless we must keep it by law (for example payment records).
8. Security
All information is sent over encrypted connections. Access keys for Shopify and Meta are stored on our servers only and can't be read from the website. Logins use one-time email codes, and team members only see what their role allows.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@kreatorcut.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell brands by email.
